• Sustainability is becoming a core part of home renovations across the UK. Over the past five years, 34% of homeowners have made green improvements, as more people look to boost energy efficiency.
• Solar panels in particular have moved firmly into the mainstream, with 56% of eco-focused renovators choosing to install them as part of their upgrades.
• Younger homeowners are driving this eco-shift, with 69% of 25–34 year olds opting for green enhancements – compared with just 18% of over-55s, who remain more focused on traditional comfort upgrades.
• There is a clear demand for greener homes, with 39% of property professionals noticing greater buyer interest for more energy efficient homes.
