Knights Lettings was launched in 2013 and continues to grow rapidly through recommendation. Rental properties are always in demand and we continue to let and manage hundred’s of properties across the South East of England.

We are members of UKALA (The UK Association of Letting Agents) providing you with quality of service and peace of mind. UKALA are dedicated to representing the interests of letting and management agents in the UK whilst also safeguarding the interests of both landlords and tenants. To assist these aims, in 2011 UKALA signed a mutually beneficial business agreement with the NLA, the leading association for private residential-landlords in the UK. Tax and the Inland Revenue

As a landlord, regrettably all income received from rented property is classified as unearned income and is therefore subject to tax. However, there are some expenses that attract tax relief. Overseas landlords should note that we are bound by law to deduct and retain tax at the basic rate before forwarding the balance, unless a valid HMRC tax exemption certificate has been received by our offices. In order to benefit from all allowances available we strongly recommend you consult a tax specialist or your local office of the Inland Revenue.
